Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Generate monthly financial reports and variance analyses
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Coordinate with auditors during night-shift engagements
- Support payroll processing and expense tracking
- Implement process improvements for night-shift efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with night shift exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Illinois tax codes
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in autonomous environments
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
