Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts nightly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with tax preparers during quarter-end closes
- Implement and improve accounting workflows
- Safeguard sensitive financial data using encryption protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift preference
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong knowledge of Indiana tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or equivalent preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
