Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions nightly
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for management review
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks and ERP systems for data entry and reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and reconciliation processes
- Exceptional accuracy with numerical data and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, Xero) a plus
