Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Reconcile bank statements and process payroll on a nightly schedule
- Generate monthly financial reports and analyze variance trends
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and vendor communications
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of Tennessee tax regulations and compliance
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting systems
