Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system (QuickBooks/Xero).
- Prepare and process weekly payroll batches for night shift staff.
- Reconcile expense reports and assist with accounts payable invoice processing.
- Assist in the month-end closing process and generate financial reports.
- Ensure all financial records are secure and backed up properly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) is mandatory.
- Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
