- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions during night shift hours
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts nightly
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial summaries
- Manage payroll processing for distributed teams across time zones
- Maintain digital filing systems with SOX compliance protocols
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews
- Support month-end closing procedures remotely
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with night shift exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of GAAP and Nebraska tax regulations
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong attention to detail with error prevention skills
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
