As a key member of our accounting team, you'll work independently in our modern downtown Nashville office, utilizing cutting-edge accounting software to maintain the integrity of our financial data. Responsibilities
- Perform daily/monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with precision and timeliness
- Generate and analyze financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records with audit-ready documentation
- Collaborate with auditors during month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and improve accounting processes using QuickBooks and Excel automation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience with night shift or remote accounting operations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a quiet environment
