Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and proprietary accounting systems
- Process high-volume accounts payable/receivable with nightly reconciliation cycles
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage payroll processing for 50+ employees with tax compliance oversight
- Coordinate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Support month-end closing procedures within tight deadlines
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proven night shift or remote accounting experience
- Professional certification (CPA, CB) highly valued
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with Arizona state tax regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
