Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
- Process accounts payable/receivable with strict attention to deadlines
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports for management review
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience with night shift availability
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Professional certification (e.g., AIPB) highly desirable
