Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts and credit card statements
- Maintain and update general ledger with precise transaction entries
- Process accounts payable/receivable within strict deadlines
- Generate monthly financial reports and variance analyses
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (advanced formulas)
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Experience with multi-currency transactions preferred
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) a plus
