Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts and financial records
- Process accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software for efficient record-keeping
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly and annual filings
- Implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation strongly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills for financial discrepancies
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
