As a Night Shift AP Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the financial workflow during off-peak hours. This role is ideal for professionals who prefer a quiet, focused work environment and want to contribute to the efficiency of a leading financial services firm.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify high volumes of invoices, ensuring accurate coding and approval routing.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Manage the AP workflow, including data entry, check runs, and electronic payments.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and communicate effectively regarding payment status.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or Finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or NetSuite preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines during night shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
