Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-day reconciliation and financial reporting for high-volume accounts
- Process payroll and accounts payable/receivable transactions during overnight shifts
- Conduct month-end closing procedures including journal entries and variance analysis
- Prepare tax documentation and compliance reports for federal and DC regulations
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Collaborate with international teams during overnight cross-functional projects
- Implement internal controls to safeguard financial data integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in night shift or remote accounting roles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP and DC tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision overnight
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
