Responsibilities
- Perform daily general ledger entries and reconcile bank statements with precision.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis and month-end close schedules.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure timely vendor and client settlements.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing organized documentation and supporting schedules.
- Monitor and maintain fixed asset registers and inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and internal company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) are essential.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
