Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure cash flow accuracy.
- Prepare and post journal entries for the night closing cycle.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Generate financial reports for management review.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
