Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and compliant with GAAP standards.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process high-volume invoices, verify vendor data, and ensure timely payments and collections.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports for executive review.
- Bank Reconciliation: Conduct nightly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Compliance & Audits: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
- Payroll Support: Process payroll adjustments and assist with month-end payroll processing.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounting, with a strong preference for candidates with night shift experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP).
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
