Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and expense reports during night shift hours
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and federal/state tax regulations
- Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and forecasting initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records using ERP systems and accounting software
- Support audits and internal controls implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with night shift or flexible hours
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or comparable accounting software
- Expert knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax compliance, and internal controls
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with high accuracy standards
- Proven ability to work independently in remote environments
