Responsibilities
- Perform daily account reconciliations for multiple general ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice verification and payment scheduling.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, preparing necessary journal entries and schedules.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making processes.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding billing and account status in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
