Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly financial reconciliation of accounts, including bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and general ledger entries.
- Maintain and organize financial records, spreadsheets, and archives in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Reconcile variances and investigate discrepancies in financial data.
- Support the finance department with ad-hoc reporting and data analysis during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
