Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Process nightly payroll disbursements and generate payroll reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including adjusting entries.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system with precision.
- Prepare and review financial statements and operational reports for leadership review.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documentation and audit schedules.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night shifts.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
