Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliation with high precision.
- Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly financial statements and management reports.
- Manage payroll processing for the night operations team and handle payroll tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and review financial transactions for errors or discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end tax packages and regulatory documentation.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and accounting software to analyze financial data trends.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all financial documents and records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proven expertise in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or Xero).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
