Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-day and end-of-month accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations and journal entries.
- Process and review accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for leadership review.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly tax filings.
- Conduct audits of financial records and identify discrepancies for resolution.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company financial procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
