Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform end-of-day and end-of-week reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledgers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance analysis reports for executive review.
- Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and supported by documentation.
- Maintain and update financial records in our ERP system (SAP or QuickBooks) with strict adherence to GAAP standards.
- Review and approve payroll entries for the night shift workforce to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to resolve outstanding account discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.
- Proven proficiency in accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting procedures.
- Ability to work independently and reliably during night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
