Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a nightly basis.
- Prepare and post adjusting entries to ensure financial statements are accurate.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis for the night lead.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems for fiscal documents.
- Review invoices for compliance with company policies and approval workflows.
- Ensure all accounting functions adhere to GAAP and internal control standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Experience working the night shift or in a 24/7 operation is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical problem-solving skills.
