Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, general ledgers, and reports on a nightly basis.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process and verify invoices, reconcile vendor statements, and manage accounts receivable collections.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform nightly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll data for the night shift workforce.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities adhere to internal controls and relevant accounting standards.
- Data Entry: Maintain and update financial databases and filing systems with high accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or finance.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Availability: Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors and ensure data accuracy in high-volume environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
