Responsibilities
- Execute daily accounting tasks including journal entries and accounts payable/receivable processing.
- Perform nightly reconciliations of bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze nightly financial statements and variance reports.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure all financial documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with GAAP standards.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested records promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and expense tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies quickly.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines during night shifts.
- Knowledge of US tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
