Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance during night hours.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and generate accurate monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and journal entries.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring all timecards and deductions are processed correctly.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain filing systems for financial documents and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding account balances and transactions.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a night shift environment or high-volume processing.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation (parking is readily available at night).
