Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable invoices with a high degree of accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process, preparing journal entries and adjusting entries.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and data analysis.
- Manage payroll processing for night-shift personnel, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Must be available to work a night shift schedule consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
