Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and within stipulated timeframes.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and intercompany eliminations for the night shift period.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries, including accruals and deferrals.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports with high attention to detail.
- Support the external audit process by providing requested documentation and data analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not strictly required).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or finance, with a strong preference for night shift or remote accounting experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
