Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of general ledgers.
- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation tasks.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior leadership.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the day-shift team regarding urgent financial matters.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night hours.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent professional experience).
