Responsibilities
- Execute daily general ledger accounting tasks and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements for leadership review.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure a seamless transition of financial duties.
- Comply with all internal controls and regulatory accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 2+ years of professional experience in general ledger accounting or bookkeeping.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite).
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred but not mandatory.
