Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all entries are accurate and posted by the close of business.
- Prepare nightly financial reports, variance analysis, and month-end close procedures to support the day shift leadership team.
- Review and process invoices, expense reports, and payroll entries with strict adherence to company policies.
- Conduct internal audits and internal control reviews to prevent discrepancies and fraud.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and tax documentation.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a strong plus.
- Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule (5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
