Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Perform monthly and quarterly financial reconciliations to ensure data integrity across all ledgers.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and tax filings under the guidance of senior management.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure a seamless handover of monthly close tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
