Key Responsibilities:
As our Night Shift Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions with precision. Your duties will include processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing month-end reports. You will work independently, requiring minimal supervision while maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in general ledger accounting. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred, along with proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks or NetSuite. Must be available to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM). Attention to detail and strong Excel skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processing during overnight hours.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Generate financial reports and analyze variances.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
- Must be available to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
