Responsibilities
- Execute the daily and monthly closing procedures for the general ledger and sub-ledgers during the night shift.
- Perform high-volume bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure financial integrity.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and journal entries in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the internal audit process by reviewing documentation and financial controls.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Collaborate with day-shift management to resolve discrepancies and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and efficiently during night hours with minimal supervision.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance standards, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
