Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and post nightly journal entries and adjust to the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers and inventory logs.
- Perform month-end close procedures for the night cycle.
- Support the internal audit process by providing requested documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM or 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
