As a Night Shift Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and facilitating a smooth closing process. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who prefer to work outside of standard business hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily and monthly accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Review financial data for errors or discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and filing systems.
- Collaborate with the day shift team during handover periods to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
- Must be available to work the night shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
