Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures and financial reporting during night shift hours
- Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheets with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and manage vendor relationships
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance documentation
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP) for data entry and analysis
- Monitor financial controls and identify discrepancies in night-shift workflows
- Collaborate with day-team accountants for seamless financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (6 PM - 2 AM)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- CPA certification or active pursuit preferred
