Responsibilities
- Manage end-of-month closing procedures and reconciliation activities during night hours
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Process payroll and expense reports for international departments
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting and forecasting
- Maintain detailed accounting records using QuickBooks and SAP systems
- Respond to urgent financial inquiries from international stakeholders
- Assist with tax preparation and documentation for multi-state operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of accounting experience with night shift or rotational schedule background
- CPA certification or actively pursuing certification
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX, and multi-state tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during off-hours
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-border collaboration
