Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing procedures including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Analyze complex financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and optimization opportunities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with precision and timeliness
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial processes
- Prepare detailed financial reports for executive leadership and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Proven expertise in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to minute details
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
