Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation during night shifts
- Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance with precision
- Manage accounts payable/receivable workflows and vendor communications
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal audit requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies
- Prepare detailed financial reports for executive review
- Support audit processes and documentation requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with night shift availability
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with month-end closing and reconciliation processes
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance regulations
