Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and quarter-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with night-specific deadlines
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Implement and maintain internal controls for overnight operations
- Collaborate with offshore teams during global financial reporting cycles
- Assist with tax preparation documentation and audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of night shift or remote accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting
- Valid California CPA license required
