Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable operations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making
- Maintain accurate general ledger and subsidiary accounts
- Process payroll and tax filings for multi-state operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Night shift availability and ability to work independently
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
