Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights
- Maintain and optimize QuickBooks and ERP system integrations
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and tax season preparations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with night shift availability
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax codes, and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during off-hours
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
