Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures and financial reporting after regular business hours
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and journal entries
- Assist with audits by preparing documentation and schedules
- Monitor financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Generate financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Collaborate with day-time finance team on cross-functional projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or similar accounting software
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- CPA or CPA preferred but not required
