We are seeking a detail-oriented Night Shift Accountant to join our finance team in the heart of London.

Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-day and end-of-week financial closing procedures.
- Manage bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Process and verify invoices and purchase orders.
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and digital records.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly VAT returns.
Qualifications
- ACCA, CIMA, or AAT qualified (or equivalent professional experience).
- Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and HMRC regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage 50, Xero, or QuickBooks).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Ability to work independently and accurately during night shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
