Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles with strict adherence to UK GAAP standards
- Prepare and distribute accurate financial statements to executive stakeholders
- Lead audit preparations and compliance documentation for regulatory bodies
- Implement process improvements using SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Coordinate with international teams across EMEA time zones
- Adhere to FCA regulatory requirements and SOX compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA/CIMA equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in night shift or remote accounting environments
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query)
- SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Financials implementation experience
- Strong understanding of UK tax legislation and HMRC requirements
- Proven track record in SOX 404 compliance and internal controls
- Certification in IFRS or UK GAAP standards preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error financial reporting
