Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Process payroll and accounts payable/receivable transactions with zero-error tolerance
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare detailed financial reports for executive review
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations during night shift operations
- Collaborate with international teams to support multi-currency transactions
- Implement process improvements to enhance night shift accounting efficiency
- Serve as primary contact for urgent financial matters during off-business hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with night shift or remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables)
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-pressure environments
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
