Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for UK and international operations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Maintain compliance with HMRC regulations and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and audits
- Optimize accounting workflows using SAP and Excel automation
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting qualification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in night shift accounting or finance roles
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VBA/macros experience
- Deep understanding of UK tax legislation and accounting standards
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Oracle Financials
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote night shift environment
