- Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations for multi-currency accounts
- Process and verify journal entries with zero-error tolerance
- Prepare VAT returns and regulatory compliance documentation
- Support month-end closing with accurate financial reporting
- Collaborate with AP/AR teams for cross-functional alignment
- Manage fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Implement internal controls for audit readiness
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent UK accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years night shift or 24/7 finance experience
- Expertise in UK GAAP/IFRS and HMRC regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA/macros proficiency
- SAP/Oracle ERP system experience essential
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error history
- Strong analytical skills for variance investigation
